InviScreen® IBV Detection Kit

The InviScreen^® IBV Detection Kit provides a real-time PCR method for the qualitative detection of Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV) RNA in biological samples of animal origin. The method is based on a real-time reverse transcription and multiplex amplification strategy for the qualitative determination of the absence or presence of IBV by detecting the S1 subunit gene. The method is applicable to detect IBV in tracheal tissue collected by scraping the internal epithelial layer using a sterile blade or swab. This kit includes an Internal Amplification Control (IAC) detection primer/probe set as a process control for the presence of PCR inhibitors. The real-time PCR method can be performed in commonly available PCR instruments with FAM and VIC/HEX fluorescence channels.
